General Manger & Executive Chef, Charles Archer
Charles Archer originally hails from Hubbard, Ohio. In 2001, Chuck graduated from The University of Michigan with a B.A. in Business Management and a Minor in Finance. Afterward, he attended the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute from which he graduated in 2002. He has resided in Wilmington since 2004 and has over 20 years of culinary experience. Chuck joined our team at Front Street Brewery as the Executive Chef in 2010 and was promoted to Operations Officer in 2012. His culinary expertise and ability to teach and lead our catering chefs have been key elements in our success as a catering company.
Chris Andrews is the Business Manager & Event Coordinator for The Beam Room Catering & Events. Chris has been an entrepreneur and business owner prior to joining us at The Beam Room at Front Street Brewery. As the director of several major public events in downtown Wilmington, Chris knows what it takes to plan the perfect event. Chris is incredibly detail-oriented , taking the stresses of event planning off of your plate and leaving you with the ability to enjoy your event and your guests’ company. Ellie Craig has been a team member at Front Street Brewery since the Fall of 2008. She began her journey her at Front Street Brewery as the Sales & Distribution Manager in 2008 and was later promoted as Marketing Manager. Over the last 6 years, Ellie has worked to build relationships with other local businesses and non-profit organizations in an effort to contribute to the overall growth and development of downtown Wilmington. Currently, Ellie aides in sales, marketing, public & business-to-business relations, and community outreach. Ellie is well-versed in our customized catering options and package information and is available to answer any questions you may have regarding hosting an event in The Beam Room or at the off-site location of your choice.
Event Coordinator & Service Manager, Courtney Motz
Courtney Motz has over 11 years of Service Experience in the Restaurant Industry. She has been a member of the Front Street Brewery and The Beam Room Team since the Spring of 2016. Born in Oklahoma and raised in Louisiana, Courtney now resides in Wilmington with her husband and son. Courtney was a Assistant General Manager at Wild Wild Cafe in Wilmington, NC for 10 years before joining our Management Staff. Since joining us, Courtney has developed a strong and qualified catering staff. Her attention to detail and strong managerial skills make her the perfect candidate for overseeing special events and training our elite catering staff. Courtney assists with booking and coordinating, as well as overseeing and managing events. We are thrilled to have her as part of the Front Street Brewery family.
